Welcome to LaDuke Radiant Sales! We represent manufacturers of innovative and noteworthy new entrants into the hydronic radiant floor heating market.
A quick definition of terms regarding our industry focus: Hydronic, meaning using hot water rather than steam or electric cables and mats. Radiant meaning the use of infrared transmission of heat instead of convection (forced-convection or “forced air” as we commonly know it). Floor, referring to the primary radiator we use to put heat into a space. Heating as opposed to warming, meaning our products aim to provide the primary heating for your home.
If you are familiar with radiant floor heating, you know that many components go into the mechanical system that produces the heat and delivers it into the home. Some components, like PEX tubing, were once an incredible advancement in hot water technology, but now have become commodities. It is the aim of LaDuke Radiant Sales to bring some of the latest innovations to the Pacific Northwest as they become available. While we may add some commodities to our offerings for convenience-sake, our primary focus will be on the more fun stuff!
If you are a homeowner getting ready to build a new home or retrofit radiant heat into your existing home, we want to help you evaluate which radiant option is best for your situation. If we can provide what you need, great! If not, we’ll continue to gather resources here to point you in the right direction. In some cases, we’ll condense some of the technical data into practical terms to clear some of the tech-speak out of the way.
We currently have two flagship product lines that are described more fully on the Product Line tab above. Bookmark that page or subscribe to the RSS feed to stay abreast of new offerings as they become available.
Should you also need system design services, we have radiant engineering partners available right now. We are also building a network of trusted local designer/installers based on relationships forged over the last decade. Check back frequently to the My Favorite Radiant Contractors page for updates or call me for assistance.
Use the contact tab to reach me and please stay in touch. I welcome the chance to help you evaluate your radiant heating options on your next project.
